The First Entry!

After waking up entirely way too early on a Sunday morning I started trolling the internet as I often find myself doing when bored. In the adolescence of my internet based social life I didn't understand blogging and when I found myself writing a post on the xangas and livejournals of yesterday it sounded so annoying. After going back and reading a few posts I found that most of my entries were shallow posts that had been written to attract attention from other friends more than it was about me at all. I mean who wants to read about boring things that cross my mind? Apparently I would! And when I say this, I mean that if I didn't know myself I would. Not because I am self absorbed or anything related to an inflated ego. Its because reading about someones life is something that I have come to realize makes me feel connected. And something that I didn't realize until which is kinda stupid is that it creates a sense of community. Getting to know someone through the documented events of their life on the internet. I suppose I didn't see the value in all this when I had tons of free time. However, with a jobs that eats my time, running, and hopefully a meaningful relationship, I have little time to enjoy a nice casual conversation as often as I would like. And even though I enjoy the warmth a real conversation sometimes it is nice to just sit in front of my little computer and read about the lives of other people. But where do I start? I have many passions and I think where I currently stand food and running are at the top of the list for me. So here we go people. Im not sure how long this will continue but hopefully something great is about to start.
